Cam Ne, Hill 55, Operation Harvest Moon Battle Area

Jack was a 1st Lt FO in 1965 for Golf 2/9 and later Lima 3/3

Inside Cam Ne

Jack tells me that Cam Ne now has a paved road running through its center, all the paths are paved, no more grass huts, all the buildings are brick & mortar and they all have electricity.

This was Golf 2/9's 1st Field CP - most of the actual tracks were missing back in those days.

   

Do you recognize the Woman on the right? She is 77 years old and was a Viet Cong Helper in 1965

The Furama Resort DaNang

Jack finally got to swim in the South China Sea, it only took 37 years.
